Welding
Vietz is among the leading German manufacturers of welding equipment for pipeline construction. Our technology is used where pipes are joined onto pipelines. We supply welding equipment, welding power units, generators or tracked welding vehicles suitable for your piping cross-section and pipe type. We also deliver tools and auxiliary equipment required for welding pipelines.

A modular tracked welding vehicle developed for pipeline construction with large pipe diameters.
VFT Fusion Machine
Our product range VFT has been developed for the effective and safe welding of large format PE pipes.
Bending
Our pipe bending machines cover pipes with outside diameters between 2″ and 64″. All of our bending machines allow for use on different pipe sizes by using insert bending sets. The pipe size ranges of our machines are deliberately designed to overlap to allow the you to select the machine best suited to your project.
Bending Machines
Equipped with additional cylinders for individual functional groups in order to have the force required for bending thick-walled pipes of these formats.
Mandrels
Placed at the bend inside the pipe and hydraulically clamped. Buffers support the pipe wall and assist in the bending process.
Centring
Centring devices are used to minimise edge offset when welding pipes. They also facilitate adjusting the gap between pipes, centring the pipes from the inside or outside. We supply internal pneumatic line-up clamps, external line-up clamps with hydraulic cylinders in various versions, but also, for example, centring chains.
Internal Line-up Clamps
Designed for up to two pipe sizes and can be adjusted for all wall thicknesses in accordance with API5L.
External Line-up Clamps
Placed over the joint of two pipes and exerts mechanical force on both pipe ends to minimise edge offset.
Lifting
In pipeline construction not in all situations it is possible to use the usual lifting accessories such as ropes, chains or round slings. Vietz offers special load-securing and load-handling devices for a whole series of work steps when unloading, moving and holding pipes as well as lowering welded pipeline. The Vacuvietz vacuum lifting device plays a special role here. It can be used, for example, to lift coated pipes without causing any mechanical stress to the pipe coating.
Vacuvietz Vacuum Lifting Device
Developed to lift goods by vacuum. Available in up to four versions with different load capacities (12, 16, 20 and 25 t).
Roller Cradles
Consist of a robust crossbeam with an lifting lug for a crane hook and a set of ropes as carriers for ball-bearing mounted rollers.
